Information School PhD Student Titima Thumbumrung Wins Merit Award at ECKM 2016

Congratulations to Information School PhD student Titima Thumbumrung who recently won a merit award for her paper at the 2016 European Conference on Knowledge Management (ECKM 2016). This is in addition to winning the best poster prize at the European Conference on Research Methodology for Business and Management Studie s ( ECRM 2016) in June 2016.

We would like to offer our warmest congratulations to our latest cohort of postgraduate students on their recent graduation.   On 15 January 2016 the School held a reception before the ceremony, where our P rize W inners were honoured for their outstanding achievements.    The West Riding Country Library/Annenberg Prize is given for outstanding performance in the field of public librarianship and was awarded to Anya Badock, MA Librarianship. Congratulations to Izzy Savage, BSc Informatics with Employment Experience, who has been shortlisted for Best Student Placement Award in the 2016 National Undergraduate Employability Student Awards following a placement year as Technical Specialist at IBM in 2014/15. This is a fantastic achievement. "This Award celebrates the amazing contribution that students make to businesses across the UK and abroad. Our finalists have made a genuine, measurable impact to their business whilst on placement."
