Sheila Webber runs invited seminars in Canada

Last week Sheila Webber, with Bill Johnston of Strathclyde University, ran seminars on the Information Literate University , at the initial invitation of York University and Ryerson University in Canada. A one-day seminar (see photo) was tailored to the needs of York and Ryersons' librarians, and Ryerson University's acting Provost also sat in on the start of the session. This was followed by a day of consultation sessions with the Information Literacy committees of each university. A final seminar was held at the University of Waterloo, with participants from Guelph University, the University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University and IL leaders from McMaster University and Western Universities.
